About Wyoming County Court Docket

Wyoming County court dockets are divided among the Circuit Clerk, Magistrate Clerk, and the courts they serve. State search tools add online access, but each tool covers a different record layer. This private reference resource organizes the official portals, clerk contacts, and request paths so readers can start with the office that actually maintains the docket or document.

Why We Built This Site

Finding a public Wyoming County court record is less direct than choosing one universal search. Circuit and Family files are maintained by Circuit Clerk Tony Paynter, while Magistrate Clerk Jessica R. Daniels holds Magistrate records. WVPASS displays available Circuit documents, but MCRSearch returns only basic Magistrate case information. This resource arranges those official options by court and record type so a reader can identify the proper custodian before searching or requesting a copy.

What You Will Find Here

  • Docket guides: how criminal dockets and civil dockets are searched and read in Wyoming County
  • Court dates and settings: how to read the court calendar and confirm a hearing date or setting
  • Case lookups: how to run a case search by party name or case number through the statewide portal
  • Record requests: how court records and certified copies are requested from the clerk of court

What We Cannot Do

This is a privately run reference site. We have no connection to any West Virginia court, clerk of court, or state agency. There are real limits to what we can help with:

  • We cannot pull an official docket sheet or case file for anyone
  • We cannot change, reschedule, or reset a court date or hearing setting
  • We cannot remove, seal, or amend a case on any docket
  • We cannot issue certified copies of any docket, order, or court document
  • We cannot give legal advice or explain how a specific case applies to you
  • We cannot guarantee that every phone number, fee, or setting listed on this site is current right now

Only the clerk of court or the trial court that heard the case can issue an official or certified copy of a docket sheet or court record. We can point you to the right office, but the document has to come from them.

Search Partners

Outside providers supply search boxes on certain content pages. Each provider controls its results, prices, and terms. This resource may receive a referral fee when a visitor purchases a service reached through a box. Partner output is not an official Wyoming County record, and this site neither selects that output nor sets the provider's charge.
